How Bevera transformed manual brewery operations into a centralized digital workflow.

A concept redesign of Bevera, creating a simpler and more connected experience for customers, sales representatives, and internal teams managing beverage operations.

Goal

Redesign operational workflows so teams can spend less time coordinating and more time getting work done.

Outcome

Designed 6 core workflows across ordering, inventory, payments, customer management, and role based dashboards. The concept explored a simpler way for teams to manage daily operations without jumping between different tools.

Context

Bevera is a B2B beverage ordering and operations platform designed to help the manage orders, inventory, payments, and customer requests from one place. As the business grew, teams were relying on spreadsheets, calls, and messages to keep daily operations running. What worked at a smaller scale became harder to manage as order volumes increased. Information was spread across different tools, coordination took more effort, and teams spent more time following up on updates than focusing on their actual work. This created an opportunity to bring key activities into a single, connected platform that made daily work easier to manage..


Problem

As Bevera grew, tracking orders, inventory, and customer updates across multiple channels became increasingly difficult.

Considerations

Concept redesign project, with research insights gathered from customers, sales representatives, and internal teams.

A connected platform where teams can easily access information and manage their work from one place.

User Research

To understand how Bevera's teams managed their daily work, I combined stakeholder conversations, user interviews, and a heuristic evaluation to understand where operations were slowing down and what a better experience could look like:

Stakeholder Conversations-

I started by speaking with the people involved in daily operations. While everyone had different responsibilities, they all shared the same challenge important information was spread across spreadsheets, calls, and messages.

User Interviews-

I spoke with customers, sales representatives, and operations team members to learn how they handled orders, inventory, payments, and customer requests in their daily work. Although their responsibilities varied, many described similar challenges around finding information, keeping track of updates, and coordinating with other teams.
Participants-

  • 4 Customers

  • 3 Sales Representatives

  • 3 Operations Team Members

Total: 10 participants
Participants came from beverage sales and operations roles. The interviews highlighted challenges around visibility, coordination, and disconnected workflows.

Heuristic Evaluation-

I evaluated the existing process to understand where users were getting stuck. Information was scattered across different tools, important updates were hard to find, and many tasks required unnecessary follow ups.

Problem & Opportunity

Bevera supports the core needs of beverage businesses but as operations grow, information becomes scattered across different tools, creating gaps in visibility, coordination, and efficiency.

We found 14 challenges across different areas of Bevera. To keep the project focused, we prioritised the 6 workflows that teams interacted with most often, had the greatest impact on daily operations, and depended on to get their work done.

Design System & Visual Language

Bevera already had a working product, so I didn't want to change things just for the sake of redesigning them. Instead, I focused on cleaning up the experience, making screens feel more consistent, and bringing more structure to the platform.
I refined existing components, simplified layouts, and established clearer design patterns so the product felt easier to use and maintain as it continued to grow, while still feeling familiar to existing users.
